Artist statement

I want to transmit the tension between people in public spaces, especially in public transports. I
want to show where our attention goes when we’re in this kind of situation; which details do we
focus on? Are we looking at the people around us, are we watching some videos on our phones,
listening music, looking outside, etc. I’d like to show the weirdness and the tension of this
paradoxical “distant proximity” we can experiment in public transport situations.
