TITLE: Great pains
DESCRIPTION:
This artwork was painted during a difficult experience of my life when art was a real therapy for me, because I could express my strongest and my deepest inner feelings and start a new chapter afterwards. The character’s upside down position, the closed eyes and the sewed chest reflect moral disorder, isolation and suffering. The usage of strong complementary colours of red and green is balanced by greyish hues which reflect the desire of reaching a harmonic state of mind.
